This month’s speaker is Sarah Glatfelter, Founder & Owner of Stay Posted, a York-based social media management business helping small business owners show up online without having to do it all themselves.
Sarah works with businesses across York, Lancaster, and South-Central Pennsylvania, creating social media that feels like the business behind it. Her work goes well beyond posting. She develops strategy, creates content, writes copy, takes photos and video, manages accounts, engages with audiences, and pays attention to what works.
Sarah also serves as Marketing Director for the Women’s Network of York, managing the organization’s social media and helping tell the stories of its members and community.
For October’s She’s Next luncheon, Sarah is bringing the conversation beyond the business owners in the room. Her presentation, What Does a Social Media Manager Actually Do? And Why Every Business Needs One, takes a behind-the-scenes look at a career that didn’t exist when many of us were growing up. She’ll talk about the skills involved, how social media has changed the way businesses communicate, and the many career paths that have grown from it.

Sarah will be bringing her daughter, Demi, to the luncheon, and we’d love for you to bring a young woman in your life, age 13 or older, too. She’s Next is an opportunity for young women to spend time in a room full of inspiring, entrepreneurial women, hear about careers and opportunities they may not know exist yet, and start thinking about what could be next for them.
