January 2026 Luncheon – Meg Motter

This month’s speaker is Meg Motter with Bellomo & Associates. Meg’s presentation is No Ostriches Allowed: Face the Future with a Life Care Plan.

Meg joined Bellomo & Associates in April 2021 and is co-creator, alongside Jeff Belomo, of the firm’s Life Care Planning program. Meg oversees all aspects of LCP, including presenting educational workshops, meeting families interested in planning, managing her team, and managing a client caseload. Her work combines her extensive clinical expertise with a deep commitment to helping families navigate the challenges of aging, care, and long-term planning.

Meg earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Piano Performance from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Betta Kappa. She went on to earn her Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a concentration in Aging from the University of Kansas, along with a Post-Master’s Certificate in Palliative Care from California State University’s Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care. Additionally, she is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Meg and her husband, David, made Hanover, PA, their home in 1990, where they raised their three children. They have deep ties to the communities and fond memories of traditions such as church camps at Penn Grove Retreat and the annual Hanover Memorial Day parade.

Outside of work, Meg enjoys spending time with her growing family, especially her first grandchild! She is an accomplished pianist, a devoted cat lover, and a Hallmark movie enthusiast. She loves writing encouraging notes, mentoring young people, and cherishes the blessing of working alongside her two daughters. Known for her warmth, humor, and Sheetz fountain soda addiction, Meg brings both expertise and heart to every family she serves.
