April 2026 Luncheon – Deborah Harrison

This month’s speaker is Deborah Harrison, Executive Director of the York County Children’s Advocacy Center. Deborah’s presentation is: Celebrating 20 Years: The Mission and Services of the York County Children’s Advocacy Center.

Her presentation will provide an overview of the York County Children’s Advocacy Center’s services, while highlighting that April is Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, and discuss the importance of child abuse prevention and intervention.

Deborah Harrison has been the Executive Director of the York County Children’s Advocacy Center since May 2009.  The Children’s Advocacy Center provides forensic interviewing, family advocacy, and medical examination services for York County children who are victims of child abuse.   Previously, she served for ten years as the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lancaster County. Deb has always been inspired to be a part of mission-oriented organizations that positively impact the community.  She lives in Lancaster with her husband Ken and has two adult stepchildren and a houseful of cats & dogs.
