This uplifting day of shopping and community brings together local vendors to raise funds for the Take a Breath Scholarship through Olivia’s House – A Family Grief Center. \nOur Mission\nAt Women’s Network of York\, we believe in the power of kindness and small acts that make a big difference. By hosting Shop for a Cause\, we aim to help grieving mothers and wives reclaim moments of rest and joy. All event proceeds go directly to the Take a Breath Scholarship\, providing recipients with experiences like a massage\, a weekend away with their children\, or other moments of healing they might not otherwise be able to afford. \nEvent Details\nWhen: November 15th\, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. \nWhere: Wisehaven Events Center \nThis is a free event to attend\, so no registration is needed! \nEvent Highlights\n\nShop Local\, Shop Meaningful: Browse unique goods and services from dozens of local artisans and small businesses. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our November Luncheon to connect with fellow local women and showcase your business. Whether you are a guest or a member\, all are welcome to join us in the TERRACE ROOM at Wisehaven Events Center\, 2985 E Prospect Rd\, York\, PA 17402. Parking is available to the left of the building. \nThis month’s speakers are Kelly Rogers and Lori Detter of the York County Food Bank. They will be doing a presentation about the York County Food Bank & the new Market at Princess Street. \nKelly Rogers is the Development Director with the York County Food Bank. She joined the Food Bank in 2021. Before working at the Food Bank\, she worked as an Advancement Director for a private elementary school in Harrisburg. Kelly has over 18 years of experience in the non-profit world. Kelly is thrilled to work with an organization that is a true team of staff and volunteers\, collaborating to help those in need. She is married to her husband Joe\, and they have three sons. \nLori Detter works for Deluxe Corporation as a Financial Institution Sales and Growth Manager.  She has been with Deluxe for 3 years\, and before joining the Deluxe team\, Lori had worked in banking for over 20 years.  Lori has lived in York County her entire life and is a graduate of York Suburban High School and Millersville University.  Lori is also a former member & board member of the Women’s Network of York.  Lori is passionate about supporting her community\, Church\, and local school district.  She currently serves on the Board of the York County Food Bank and spends many hours each year volunteering at various Food Bank events.  Lori enjoys spending her personal time with her husband & two children\, reading fiction books\, and walking her French Bulldog. \nYou don’t want to miss this month’s luncheon! Come prepared with business cards and ready to share a 30-second commercial to promote your business. \n*Registration opens on Thursday\, October 23rd\, 2025 and closes on Monday\, November 10th at 11:59pm. \nMember Registrations are $25 | Guest Registrations are $30\nRegistration cost includes buffet lunch and dessert\, plus the opportunity to promote your business through a 30-second commercial.
