DESCRIPTION:July is Women’s Network of York Give Back month!\nJoin us for a special Women’s Network of York luncheon as we take our July meeting on the road to The Residence at Fitz Farm\, located at 2200 Springwood Rd\, York\, PA 17403. \nEnjoy a delicious lunch\, meaningful networking\, and the opportunity to connect with fellow professional women in a beautiful setting. \nBut the fun doesn’t stop when lunch ends! We will be spreading some joy by hosting a mobile “car wash” for the residents\, giving walkers and wheelchairs a sparkling clean while sharing smiles\, laughter\, and conversation. DESCRIPTION:Join us for our August Luncheon to connect with fellow local women and showcase your business. Whether you are a guest or a member\, all are welcome to join us at our new meeting location\, The Madison Room at the OutDoor Country Club (ODCC). Click here to get directions to ODCC! \nThis month’s speaker is Ann Waltman\, Senior Director for the York Regional Office of Make-A-Wish Greater PA and WV. Ann’s presentation is Everything you’ve always wanted to know about Make-A-Wish and more! \nDuring her presentation\, Ann will explain the history of Make-A-Wish\, both how it started nationally and here in York\, PA\, the referral process and who qualifies\, what types of wishes they do\, and how wishes are funded. Her presentation will conclude by offering ways individuals or groups can become involved. \nAnn has worked at Make-A-Wish since 2002 and is passionate about their mission. With a degree in social work from Millersville University\, she has always worked in positions where she was helping to improve the local community\, and she found her home at Make-A-Wish 24 years ago and hasn’t wavered. In her spare time\, family is first and foremost. She and her husband love spending time with their two kids and their growing families. Ann loves to say\, “Grands are the best!” She also loves to kayak\, read\, walk\, and weight train. \nYou don’t want to miss this month’s luncheon!
