DESCRIPTION:Join us for our April Luncheon to connect with fellow local women and showcase your business. Whether you are a guest or a member\, all are welcome to join us in the TERRACE ROOM at Wisehaven Events Center\, 2985 E Prospect Rd\, York\, PA 17402. Parking is available to the left of the building. \nThis month’s speaker is Sue DuMars the Major Gifts/Community Engagement Manager for Easterseals Western and Central PA. Sue’s presentation is Easterseals\, it’s not about the holiday! Empowering individuals with disabilities to participate in their communities and live an independent life. \nSue joined ESWCPA about 18 months ago. The first 25 years of her professional life were spent coaching volleyball\, first at Loyola University in Baltimore and then almost 20 years at York College. Easterseals is the second non-profit that Sue has worked with\, the first being Community Progress Council. Sue has learned so much about our community through these organizations! \nCurrently\, Sue volunteers on Monday evenings at the downtown YMCA instructing the girls’ intramural volleyball program. Sue is also a member of the Uptown York Rotary Club. \nSue and her husband Steve have lived in York for 33 years and raised their four children here\, Nicholas\, Luke\, Jake\, and Georgia. They are empty nesters now with their kids living all over the country in Sacramento\, Indianapolis\, Philadelphia\, and Raleigh. \nYou don’t want to miss this month’s luncheon! Come prepared with business cards and ready to share a 30-second commercial to promote your business. \n*Registration opens on Thursday\, March 20th\, 2025 and closes on Wednesday\, April 9th\, 2025 at 11:59pm. \nMember Registrations are $25 | Guest Registrations are $30\nRegistration cost includes buffet lunch and dessert\, plus the opportunity to promote your business through a 30-second commercial.
