DESCRIPTION:Join us for our October Luncheon to connect with fellow local women and showcase your business. Whether you are a guest or a member\, all are welcome to join us in the TERRACE ROOM at Wisehaven Events Center\, 2985 E Prospect Rd\, York\, PA 17402. Parking is available to the left of the building. \nThis month’s speaker is Shelley George Gilgore presenting on M.A.D.S. Enterprises Emily Shoemaker Memorial Fund. Shelley’s Presentation is “M.A.D.S. Enterprises Emily Shoemaker Memorial Fund”. \nShelley has 35 years of experience in the financial banking industry. Much of that experience focused on local community needs\, and personal financial counseling with an additional emphasis on how to best serve small businesses in reaching their potential. Because of a personal family tragedy\, Shelley researched the York area and how to best serve our local youth. With her family\, they decided to launch M.A.D.S. Enterprises in honor of her niece Emily Shoemaker. This small grassroots non-profit organization has made it its mission to provide mentorship\, support\, and financial scholarships to York’s local youth. Additional programs focus on youth entrepreneurship and how our youth can become active members of the community. \nYou don’t want to miss this month’s luncheon!
